What exactly is a silvana?

The ultimate frozen cookie. It’s a Filipino classic that combines rich buttercream, crisp meringue wafers, and a crumb coating into one perfect, ice-cold bite. It’s chewier than a macaron, colder than a standard cookie, and better than both.

What makes Brat Butter silvanas different?

Traditional silvanas are great, and Brat Butter takes it to the next level. We’re ditching the predictable bakery look to bring you top-tier Canadian dairy, premium local eggs, and bold flavor drops. It's the perfect mix of high-end local quality and a serious amount of attitude, delivered straight to your freezer.

 

Storage & Serving

How should I store my silvanas?

In the freezer. Seriously, do not leave them on the counter. Because our buttercream is ultra-rich and authentic, they will soften up quickly at room temperature. Keep them tucked away in the freezer until you are ready to eat.

How long do they last?

If kept in an airtight container in your freezer, our silvanas will stay fresh and delicious for up to 4 weeks. But honestly, they rarely last that long before being eaten.

Should I thaw them before eating?

It is completely up to you! They are designed to be eaten straight from the freezer for a firm, ice-cream-sandwich-like texture. If you prefer a softer, creamier bite, let them sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes before diving in.

 

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship nationwide or offer local pickup?

Because our silvanas require strict temperature control, our fulfillment options are highly specialized:

Local GTA Delivery: We offer local delivery within downtown Toronto and nearby areas  using temperature-controlled packaging.

Pickup: You can skip the delivery fee and pick up your order directly from our location in Fort York, Toronto. Select "Pickup" at checkout for details. We recommend arriving with a temperature-controlled carrier like a thermal bag or cooler. Or eat it right away. We won’t judge.

When will my order arrive?

Local Delivery: Deliveries are made Mondays to Fridays between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. and weekends between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. You will receive a text notification when your order is en route.

Pickup: Orders are typically ready for pick-up within Mondays to Fridays between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. and weekends between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Select the date and time that works best for you during checkout.

 

Ingredients & Allergens

Are your silvanas gluten-free?

Depending on the flavor, our silvanas may contain wheat. Our kitchen processes wheat regularly. 

What are the main allergens?

Our traditional recipe relies heavily on cashews (tree nuts), eggs, and dairy (butter). Our kitchen processes tree nuts daily, so we cannot guarantee a completely nut-free environment.

 

Orders & Changes

Can I change or cancel my order?

Because we bake and assemble our silvanas in small, fresh batches, cancellations or modifications must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled delivery or pickup window. Drop us a line at contact.bratbutter@gmail.com with your order number, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
